How to Unlock Every Special World Level in Mario Wonder: A Full Guide
The Special World serves as the climactic eighth world in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Known for its demanding difficulty, each level in this world is rated five stars and contains two Wonder Seeds to discover. It’s also the place where players earn the ultimate in-game badge. However, accessing the Special World isn’t straightforward; it requires finding specific Special World entrances.
This guide will walk you through how to unlock all secret world levels in Mario Wonder by revealing the location of every Special World entrance.
Getting to the Special World involves locating special propeller flowers that transport you to this challenging area. Each propeller flower corresponds to one specific level within the Special World and acts as an extension of the main map routes, rather than leading to a central Special World hub. There is one Special World entrance hidden within each of the six main worlds, plus an additional one located in the Petal Isles hub world. Finding these often means uncovering secrets or completing specific challenges. Below, we detail where to find every one of these entrances across all seven areas in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, starting from W1 Pipe-Rock Plateau and concluding with the Petal Isles.

The entrance to the Special World from W1 Pipe-Rock Plateau is initially concealed. To reveal the path leading to it, you must find the secret exit within the level Bullrush Express. This secret exit also rewards you with the third Wonder Seed available in that stage.
Once the secret exit is found, a new path will open on the world map. This route will take you through the levels Sproings in the Twilight Forest, Cosmic Hoppos, and the challenge stage Expert Badge Challenge: Jet Run 1.
Successfully navigating these levels will lead you directly to the propeller flower and the entrance to the Pipe-Rock Plateau Special Bounce, Bounce, Bounce level within the Special World.

To access the Special World from W2 Fluff-Puff Peaks, the path is more straightforward than in W1. Simply follow the route that ascends from the Jump! Jump! Jump! level. Continue past the Expert Badge Challenge: Spring Feet 1 stage on the world map.
Following this specific path will lead you directly to the propeller flower entrance. This particular entrance transports you to the Full-Puff Peaks Special Climb to the Beat level in the Special World.

Similar to W1, the entrance to the Special World from W3 Shining Falls is not immediately available. It is hidden and requires a specific action to appear. To cause this entrance to open up on the map, you need to revisit and complete the Royal Seed Mansion level for a second time.
Upon completing the mansion for the second time, the path leading to the propeller flower will be revealed on the world map. Taking this route will bring you to the entrance for the Shining Falls Special Triple Threat Deluge level in the Special World.

In W4 Sunbaked Desert, a secret path leads directly to the Special World entrance for this area. To remove the obstacle blocking this route, you must first find the secret exit within the level Secrets of Shova Mansion. Discovering this exit also grants you the level’s third Wonder Seed.
Finding the secret exit unlocks the hidden path on the map. This route progresses through the levels Flight of the Bloomps and the expert challenge Expert Badge Challenge: Invisibility 1. Completing these stages will finally bring you to the propeller flower entrance.
This entrance provides access to the challenging Sunbaked Desert Special Pole Block Allure level within the Special World.
W5 Fungi Mines Special World Entrance

To locate the entrance leading to the Special World from W5 Fungi Mines, similar to W3, you must revisit a previously completed level. The path to this entrance is unlocked by completing the Operation Poplin Rescue level for a second time after your initial clear.
Once Operation Poplin Rescue has been completed twice, the path to the propeller flower entrance will become available on the world map. This specific entrance leads to the Fungi Mines Special Dangerous Donut Ride level located in the Special World.

Meeting the Seed Requirement

The Special World entrance found in W6 Deep Magma Bog is not hidden by a secret exit, but it does have a different requirement. You must collect a minimum of 25 Wonder Seeds within the Deep Magma Bog area itself to unlock the path.
Gathering 25 seeds in this world allows you to unlock the challenging Expert Badge Challenge: Jet Run 2. Completing this badge challenge unlocks a sequence of further challenges: Expert Badge Challenge: Invisibility 2 and Expert Badge Challenge: Spring Feet 2. After successfully clearing all three of these expert badge challenges, the path to the Special World entrance will become accessible on the world map. This entrance connects you to the Deep Magma Bog Special Solar Roller level.

The entrance to the Special World located in the Petal Isles is arguably the easiest to find among all the entrances. This straightforward entrance leads you to the Petal Isles Special Way of the Goomba level in the Special World.
Finding all these Special World entrances is key to experiencing the most challenging levels Super Mario Bros. Wonder has to offer and truly completing the game. Continue your adventure by discovering all the Wonder Seeds in each world!
